Job Description

As the Technology Director for Capita Experience you\xe2\x80\x99ll be a member of the TSS SLT and be the representative for TSS, owning Technology delivery and execution across the Division via participation at the Divisional SLT. Defining and streamlining the technology landscape, you will also implement company reference architecture, demand management, relationship management and will be responsible for providing a clear view of how Division is developing the Business strategy, and its play back into TSS, while ensuring the delivery of client and internal technology transformation programs.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing:

• Manage the delivery of quality technology services from TSS - design, build, test, run across infrastructure, systems and applications - to clients, in collaboration with the Division to meet the defined KPI\xe2\x80\x99s
• Understand and provide innovative customer experiences, create seamless customer interactions and customer intimacy (aligned with Divisional strategies), while ensuring relevant service reporting to the Division in defined governance frameworks. Establish service lines governance to bring operations and technology together in a seamless way
• Project oversight and delivery performance of all Technology projects, covering systems development, networks, infrastructure and information security (including project plan, RAID log, Business Requirements Documentation etc.)
• Own the technology solution into bids and interface with Divisional & client peers as needed
• Nurture talent and provide development opportunities that maximise diversity of thought and opportunity
• Clearly communicate plans and status updates to internal and external stakeholders, particularly on areas including demand management, service management and risk management. Manage relevant contract SLAs at a Divisional level down to the client
• Work with the functional areas to ensure that all Business area and IT budgets are aligned
• Act as an evangelist for services, assisting sales with selling and serving as an executive sponsor for our strategic customers by developing client experience blueprints as well as client care and service strategy

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

• A leader, with demonstrable experience operating at this level capable of delivering complex projects (\xc2\xa310million+) from a matrixed organisation on budget and to the delight of the customer
• Previous experience within customer experience/contact centres leading a technical organisation of 300+
• An innovative and technical thinking adept at making the most of new technologies and softwares, providing a competitive edge to Capita\xe2\x80\x99s solutioning. Able to understand, contextualise and draw out implications of the market and trends, and pain points of key divisional client accounts, and link to Capita\xe2\x80\x99s capabilities.
• Displays strong commercial acumen to ensure cost targets and operational efficiencies are met
• Hand on Experience of multi-geography delivery
• Demonstrates people empathy, understands how to motivate teams to bring out the best for the individuals and the clients
• Ability to build meaningful relationships across a business. Excellent communication & collaboration skills to bridge the matrix in TSS & Division
• Driven and outcome orientated
