Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Technician – GBS Component Engineering in Pune, India
What a typical day looks like:

• Experience in Manufacturing /Engineering industry preferably in electronics.
• Good organization and technical communication skills to effectively monitor and convey component end-of-life (EOL) notifications and part change notifications (PCN’s) to Purchasing and Engineering.
• Expert knowledge of electronic components and their applications to quickly evaluate the severity of EOL’s and PCN’s, and to evaluate potential alternates.
• Familiar with circuit design principles and board layout guidelines, identifying alternate parts and manufacturers.

Here is some of what you will need (required):

• Knowledge of electrical and electronic components
• Excellent written and oral communication skills MANDATORY.
• Working Knowledge of MS Office tools (MS Excel, MS Word)
• Good team player
• Good knowledge of electronic components and their applications to quickly evaluate the severity of EOL’s and PCN’s, and to evaluate potential alternates.

Here are a few of our preferred experiences:

• Minimum 0- 2 years of experience as a in a manufacturing set up, preferably in EMS industry
• Diploma in E&TC/Electronics/EEE or BSC in Electronics
