Role: Tech Writer Production & Application Support

Location: Bangalore

Desired experience Range: Minimum 4 Years to 8 Years

Shift: Should be flexible with rotational and night shift

Must Have:

• Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
• Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
• Excellent written skills in English
• Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software Engineering (Testing, Site Reliability, etc)
• Exposure/Familiarity to Cloud concepts viz: AWS and/or AZURE

Responsibilities:

• Work with geographically dispersed internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
• Produce high-quality and easy-to-understand documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
• Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse.
• Create and maintain the information architecture

Requirements

Good to Have:

• Experience working with Git
• Experience with Git pages / static page hosting via Git
• Exposure/Familiarity to few Technology tooling concepts/usage – Kubernetes, Monitoring (New Relic, Prometheus) , Logging (Splunk), etc
• Experience creating and maintaining content for portals
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
