Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Technical Writer, you will play a critical role in creating comprehensive and user-friendly documentation for our 4G and 5G product portfolio. Your expertise in translating complex technical information into clear and concise content will ensure that our customers have the necessary resources to maximize the value of our products. Qualifications and experience: Possess a college degree in a related field such as English, Technical Communications, Engineering, or Computer Science. Strong understanding of 5G technology, telecommunications, networking concepts, and related terminology is preferred. 3-5+ years of technical writing experience. Experience with Agile software development methodologies Excellent command of U.S. English (understanding, speaking, and writing) Excellent research, analysis, and writing skills. Ability to write clearly and concisely using correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Proven ability to write conceptual, task-oriented, and reference documentation with equal facility. Experience interpreting technical specifications, user stories, configuration files, code, and other technical documents as source material.Technical and tools knowledge Proven ability to learn new products and technologies and to grasp technical material. Familiarity with structured authoring, XML, and content management systems (CMS). Preferred: Oxygen XML Author, or a similar XML editor. Exposure to software development tools, including source control tools, and processes, including design, development, and quality assurance is a plus Knowledge about the communications industry is a plus. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Possess good planning, estimation, and organization skills. Ability to work independently and possess good judgment, positive attitude, and an innovative spirit. Ability to work with cross-functional global teams, including developers, peers, architects, and editors in remote locations and in various methods (phone, email, web conferencing). Ability to work on multiple deliverables for multiple products simultaneously and under time constraints.
