Building customer centric products and services is at the core of what we do within Experian. This is fuelled by our best-in-class Product and Engineering talent across our Global Centres. Engagement, enablement, enrichment of our talent through learning and development is a high priority within the organization. We're now looking for a Training Lead who will lead a team of Training Coordinators critical to drive this agenda forward within each Global Centre.

The Technical Training Lead will work with Business Leaders, HR, Talent and L&D, Training Coordinators in spearheading the following objectives:

  • Align L&D training strategy with business objectives and associated KRs/KPIs
  • Enable our talent with trainings on critical product, engineering and agile skills identified as part of Group HR Talent Management
  • Increase proficiency and productivity through effective and impactful training program
  • Improve completion rate of courses by our associates
  • Reduce talent attrition rate on markers of L&D and Career Advancement as cited factors
  • Assure consistency and quality on the training program across all Global Centres
  • Scale and sustain the training program across all Global Centres
  • Build product and engineering ecosystem through university partnerships
What you'll be supporting:
  • Identify training needs by role, level and skills needed within Product and Engineering
  • Create learning journeys for teams and individuals within the Global Centres
  • Develop standardized product, engineering and agile training curriculum
  • Design standardized assessments to measure proficiency
  • Create the training OKRs/KPIs for all Global Centres
  • Build university partnerships for intern, co-op programs and support with campus recruitment efforts
What you'll be responsible for:
  • Achieving the training OKRs/KPIs across all Global Centres
  • Lead the team of Training Coordinators within each Global Centre to deliver on the above objectives
  • Decide between multiple programs on most effective one for the organization
  • Manage training budgets and vendors (for specific needs in the Global Centres) effectively to maximize ROI
  • Maintain updated curriculum database and training records for all employees in scope
  • Lead communication and marketing campaigns to increase engagement and participation
  • Facilitate impediment resolution by working with Business Leaders and HR-Talent and L&D
  • Leverage known education principles and stay up to date on new training methods and techniques
  • Host train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
  • Develop a scalable approach for the training program across all Global Centres
  • Analyse feedback from trainers and trainees to continually improve the program
  • Assess instructional effectiveness and report impact of training on employee skills and OKRs/KPIs across all Global Centres
  • Liaise with facilities, sourcing on procuring and maintaining training resources
Qualifications

Experience
  • Proven work experience of 8-15 years as Training Lead or Manager in a global capacity
  • Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting
  • Knowledge and implementation experience in instructional design
  • Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques
  • Experience with e-learning platforms, learning management systems and web delivery tools (pluralsight, saba, etc)
Key skills required:
  • Strong stakeholder management skills; including making information simple, accessible, and insightful for stakeholders
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to connect with people - an influencer, especially within a matrixed environment
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, Learning Platforms, PowerBI
Credentials
  • Undergraduate degree; ideally an advanced degree
  • Relevant training and certification in field of Education, Training, Instructional Design, HR or related field
