Role Purpose We are looking for a skilled Technical Team Lead to manage one of IGs development/vertical teams. The Technical Team Lead role is for the team that owns the educate vertical completely and is responsible for the initiatives around it and in full control to improve the space by right product discovery and opportunities along with the partners in products, design and architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and be able to lead a team of developers and QA to meet delivery expectations and maintain high-quality standards. You will be responsible for services that help deliver great outcomes for the educate domain team. Your responsibilities will include: 1. Collaborate with other teams to deliver great results. You will be a strong collaborator working with the Technical Team leads in Client Technology and wider. 2. Work with product and engineering partners to drive key decisions 3. Own features and solutions along with modernization plans for the tech stack you are responsible for. 4. Provide oversight of design and code quality. 5. Ensure your team meets IG s software quality standards and adopt engineering best practices 6. Recruit and onboard new team members efficiently. 7. Line Management of your developers and QA and coach them in their personal development goals 8. Drive adoption of our Agile development life cycle. 9. What are we looking for: An experienced technical leader of cross-functional, product centric teams Proven track record of leading delivery outcomes Strong technical background, previous experience as a senior level engineer Dedication to building and nurturing a diverse engineering team Confidence in delivering best-in-class solutions with a high degree of autonomy and collaboration Extensive experience in Agile practices and CI/CD Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and drive results Nice to have skills: Experience working within a regulated financial environment.
