Job Description

This role leads the Technical Support and Process Engineering function, supporting manufacturing, quality, safety, projects, and NPI activities at a chemical manufacturing site. The position requires strong technical leadership, deep process knowledge, and close collaboration with global R&D and technology teams.
Reporting to the Site Operations Director, you will:

• Lead the Technical Support and Process Engineering function at the manufacturing site.
• Support manufacturing, quality assurance, process safety, projects, and new product introduction activities.
• Act as a key interface between site operations and global technical and R&D teams.
• Drive technical problem-solving, root cause analysis, and design of experiments.
• Support technology transfer initiatives and participate in critical technical decision-making forums.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, audits, HAZOP, OHSAS, and sustainability standards.
• Prepare and present technical reports, feasibility studies, and case analyses for senior stakeholders.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of technical engineers.

15+ yrs' exp. in technical support & process engineering in chemical plantsProven leader managing senior engineers in regulated manufacturing environments

• Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Brings strong experience in hazardous or highly regulated chemical manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrates deep understanding of EHS systems and process safety leadership.
• Experienced in managing and developing qualified, senior technical teams.
• Well-versed in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM.
• Strong communicator with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear insights.
• Comfortable operating independently in a remote site environment with high accountability.
