Energy Alloys Global Solutions, the only 100% oil and gas supplier of Special alloys and services is currently seeking a Technical Support Engineer . This role is responsible for Technical Support to the sales department and act as a bridge between our technical offerings and customer requirements. Responsibilities and Duties Assist sales/quality representatives in verifying the Material test certificates. Assist sales representatives in reviewing orders and identifying additional testing requirements, if any. Verify inspection/testing records related to mechanical testing, NDE, heat treatment, coating etc. Enters orders in the ERP and verifies material accuracy and delivery schedule meets customer deadline. Coordinates various aspects of product realization, which includes order follow-ups internally and with vendors. Respond to customer queries in a timely manner for order status and technical queries. Provide solutions for customer complaints in a timely manner by working with Quality team. Assist in developing vendors by conducting audits and periodic evaluations. Assist in quality data collection and trend analysis for key performance indicators. Provide guidance and training to new joiners. Actively support and demonstrate commitment to Energy Alloys mission, vision, values, systems and business strategies. Qualifications Education: Engineering Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial Engineering. Minimum two (2) years of experience in providing technical support to sales/quality team. Experience in manufacturing environment is preferred. Knowledge of steel manufacturing and material test certificates is preferred. Knowledge of material testing is preferred. Knowledge of API Q1, ISO 9001:2015 would be an added advantage. Knowledge of special processes such as NDE, Coating, Heat Treatment would be an added advantage. Experience Minimum of 2 years of previous experience on a similar role. Previous experience within the metals industry essential.
