VACANCY FOR TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER

The position / About the Job:

In this job the Technical Project Manager would be responsible for:

Key Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Chemical engineering and design of components, systems, and plants to various industries for medium to high complexity projects.
  • Preparation of technical specifications and other documents of the project.
  • Make technical calculations and verifications.
  • Select and design products and solutions based on customer requests and applicable standards and codes
  • Deliver input to improve current technical solutions and/or develop new solutions to ensure our competitive advantage.
  • Participate in verification and project meetings.
  • Close cooperation with purchase in the handling of suppliers.
  • Designing and engineering products and solutions for edible oil systems as per contract and applicable standards & codes.
  • Designing Flowcharts, P&I Ds, layouts, and equipment
  • Delivering and facilitating an improvement of current technical solutions and/or developing new solutions to ensure our competitive advantage
  • Participating in project meetings
  • Performance testing and troubleshooting for edible oil refinery, fat modification and new processes.
  • Mentoring and coaching new engineers.
  • Ensure that plants/ systems delivered to the customers are as per the agreed contract.
  • Work in a structured way and in accordance with rules and procedures.
  • Attend meetings with customers, consultants, and external suppliers as & when required.
  • Be up to date with new technology and tools. Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Behaviours Required for the Job) Qualifications/ Certifications Knowledge, Technical Skills, and Nature of Experience Behavioural/ Leadership Skills Level Chemical Engineer having relevant experience in project / Process design / Plant Knowledge:

Who you are?

As a person, you are to execute Chemical engineering packages for several medium to high-complexity projects, as well as to keep and develop our Chemical engineering discipline know-how on a high level.

What you can be?
  • Chemical Engineer having relevant experience in Project / Process design / Plant, having relevant experience in the same field.
  • Practical experience with mechanical engineering and design work.
  • Practical experience with engineering codes and standards.
  • Detailed engineering of process plants/projects.
  • Knowledge of mechanical equipment operation and maintenance, like separators, pumps, heat exchangers, etc.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Minimum 7 - 12 years of experience in the engineering of plants/ systems within the process industry.
