• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
• 5+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
• 4+ years of technical program management experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 5+ years' experience.

Amazon Business is the B2B offering on Amazon, providing business customers with the pricing, selection and convenience of Amazon, with features and benefits designed for businesses of all sizes. Amazon Business Payments team is responsible for developing the Services and applications used to introduce new and innovative payment methods to customers as well as Amazon’s global co-brand and private label credit cards.

We are seeking talented technical program manager who want to build new payment methods and experiences to support business customers to shop on Amazon. We want to drive business customers to have a flawless and delightful shopping experience for their business needs.

We build systems that process payments at high scale, with accuracy, speed, and mission-critical availability. We innovate to improve business customer experience across the globe, with support for currency choice, credit and debit payments, disbursements and many new exciting and challenging ideas are in the works. This role requires working closely with our 3rd party payment providers and business stakeholders across Amazon; product management, payments development, and information security engineering teams across the company to define strategy and requirements, and then lead projects through operations design and delivery. This position involves regular communication with senior management on status, risks and product strategy. Excellent listening, writing skills and strong technical competency are essential.

A day in the life
We are a fast-paced development team, using agile methodologies to deliver incrementally with each two-week sprint. We build predominantly in java using a blend of server and serverless based architectures. We are a full stack development organization owning internally and externally facing UI stacks as well as multiple services. We invest heavily in automation in both testing and deployment to reduce time to market and scale our operations. We allocate time for learning and experimentation through learning days and hackathons and provide plenty of opportunities to work along-side senior engineers. We share our knowledge through weekly learning sessions and monthly tech talks. We constantly seek to innovate new approaches to system design and make our applications faster and more flexible by monitoring system performance and prototyping new ideas.

• PMP or Project Management Certification
• Proven ability to lead and influence others including developers, business owners and senior tech and business leaders.
