Role Title: Technical lead - Web development Role Type: Individual Contributor Work Location: Bangalore (India) Reports to: Manager - Digital transformation BU Aerospace Purpose of the role: As a tech lead this role is focused on the day-to-day technical aspects of a project and the development team. Responsible for leading a team of developers and ensuring that the team delivers high-quality code and meets project milestones. Actively participate in coding and development tasks. Key Responsibilities: Write well-abstracted, reusable, high-performance code for web applications. To lead the development and implementation of the solution architecture adhering to conditions including business requirements and IT strategies Oversee software architecture, source control workflows, CI/CD processes and perform code reviews to ensure exceptional code quality You will be responsible for improving the development experience and the quality of the codebase. You will define and uphold best practices and coding standards for the team Lead BU\'s digital solution architecture for organization\'s digital transformation journey Identify and resolving technical challenges faced by the team Partnering with business to develop digital blueprint of the business Conceptualize, Architect, Design Digital Solutions & research & evaluate new technologies Document all solution architecture design and analysis work Understand how IOT/Big Data/Analytics technology supports business operations to create value Work with Product owner, Business stakeholders to ensure that the Business requirements, functional and non-functional requirements are mapped, documented and are fit to determine the solution. Also ensure the solution is effective & efficient to solve the business problem Developing pragmatic, commercial feasible architectures, considering all functional as well as non-functional requirements (e.g. performance, capacity, accessibility, security, usability) Coordinate new development activities, maintain existing set-up and ensure consistency gets well-integrated to established reference architecture. Estimate the financial impact of architecture solution alternatives Document, model and disseminate understanding of the domain architectural design and its analysis work Engage and oversee the evaluation and selection of architecture best practices and industry standards, advocate the pragmatic relationship between design and documentation of enterprise, domain or solution through-out lifecycle including deployments and support perspectives. We expect you to have (Competencies) 5+ years of professional software development experience Should have 2+ years of experience in React JS Technically hands-on, i.e. able to do hands-on coding/ review code 4-8 years of experience in front-end frameworks and languages such as HTML, CSS, JS. ReactJS, Angular, etc., and/or backend technologies such as NodeJS, ASP.NET Good understanding of API\'s and Microsoft SQL server Able to do system/application performance tuning and has good application security knowledge Experience in designing, developing and deploying large, scalable production applications on Cloud/PaaS platforms and Containers (such as AWS, Azure) Highly conversant in architectural concepts, principles and governance practice Proficient in conceptualizing and deriving common architectural designs across multiple services Proven track record of internal/external customer facing solutions designing Strong business acumen, strategic and analytical thinking, root cause analysis, and creative problem-solving ability Customer-centric individual, possess strong People Leadership and interpersonal skills Strong project management skills, especially in Agile and SCRUM mythology Experience and knowledge about data architecture, Data warehousing Snowflake will be plus Academic & Work Profile (Candidate Profile) Engineering degree is must (B.E. CS preferred) Overall, 8-10 year of experience 8+ years of experience in web technologies. We use React, TypeScript, NodeJS, MySQL Fluent in writing high quality code with relevant test suits People management experience will be a plus Experience of working in a Manufacturing setup will be an added advantage.
