  • POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the application design and development of solutions that leverage the Microsoft Technology stack, which includes .NET. The successful candidate will report to a team lead in the IT Applications organization and will be involved in a wide range of challenging IT projects. An ideal candidate would be someone with 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Technologies and has interest in expanding their skills to include technical leadership or architecture roles.
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and Develops Solutions for IT projects
  • Determine technical requirements of projects to ensure that client specifications are met
  • Lead and coordinate the technical tasks through all phases of new solutions’ projects
  • Coach and mentor Jr. Developers and other colleagues in IT. Facilitate the exchange of technical knowledge across the Global IT technical community
  • Monitor and approve development and quality assurance aspects of projects
  • Work closely with Functional teams in the design of solutions and enhancements
  • Work closely with Infrastructure teams during design and implementation of solutions
  • Learn new technologies and be a change agent to introduce technologies to the IT enablement teams
  • Leverage skills to develop proof-of-concepts for projects, and when needed utilize advanced programming techniques for complex situations
  • Learn, design and implement cross business process solutions
  • Collaborate with strategic partners in solution development and enforcement of standards
  • Provide technical support for applications
  • MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
    • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or in a related technical discipline (e.g., Engineering or Science)
    • 10+ years’ experience working with information technology
    • 7+ years’ hands-on experience developing solutions with Microsoft technologies is required
    • Broad knowledge of IT system development, IT infrastructure and business processes
    • Broad knowledge of software development tools, technologies and methodologies
    • Systems’ level thinking - see big picture and interconnects
    • Familiarity with the agile methodologies & software development lifecycle (SDLC)
    • Knowledge and experience in applying object-oriented design and implementation.
    • Knowledge and experience with project methodologies, e.g. ALM or Agile.
    • Able to influence others without direct control. Good communication, leadership and teamwork skills are required. including the ability to work independently. Ability to manage multiple project priorities and competing demands.
    • Experience with Microsoft’s .NET Framework and Visual Studio IDE, using C# as the development language.
    • Experience developing web applications with SOA, RESTful APIs, and/or MVC architectures.
    • Familiarity with scripting languages (JavaScript (Node.js) / Python).
    • Experience in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
    • Experience in SQL or NoSQL database environments.
    • Experience with native mobile development a plus.
