What does the team do?

As part of the Sharechat team, the Live vertical targets Sharechat's uber vision of monetizing content beyond ads by enabling creators with viewer engaging features and enables the viewers to gratify creators via gifting. This technical vertical inside our Tech ecosystem focuses on solving multiple business use cases for increasing Sharechat's revenue and providing growth in terms of monthly recharges, gifting, new customer acquisitions, customer retention, etc. We try to understand our customer behavior and build smart products using cutting-edge technologies to solve these problems at scale. We operate on a scale of millions of customer interactions on the app daily.

You will be the technical leader of the company. It will be your responsibility (and pleasure) to guide the team in adding new features, updating existing ones, enhancing reliability and performance, optimizing processes, and recruiting and training new team members.

What You'll Do?

• Build pixel-perfect, smooth UI s across both mobile platforms.
• Implement clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent user experience.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
• Coach and mentor those around you to achieve the team and company goals.
• Maintain code and write tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
• Participating in SDLC processes streamlining, POC development, Functional Estimation, Performance Tuning, Environments setup, etc.
• Lead application design, code reviews and documentation.

Who are you?

You'll fit right in, if you have

• Forensic attention to detail.
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, React & React Native.
• Working knowledge of any one native language ( IOS/ Android)
• Experience in profiling tools in Xcode and Android Studio
• Experience in writing unit testing code with libraries like Jest, Enzyme , Jasmine, Mocha, etc
• An avid follower of the best practices, optimization strategies, and design patterns
• Good knowledge of monitoring and tracking down app crashes and bugs using advanced tools
• 5-8 years of experience with mobile development with minimum 1-2 year of experience in React Native
• Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline-driven environment.
