FPGA Engineer Thales India Engineering Competency Center in Bangalore is seeking Technical Lead Engineer role to be part of Hardware engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for FPGA Design & Verification for Avionics applications. Responsibilities includes development of Test strategy, Verification Procedures, Test bench, BFMs, Monitors, Checkers & Verification Report as per DO254 guidelines. Proposal preparation, detailed design and IVVQ for various Thales products (Defense and aerospace applications) including Obsolescence redesign. Qualifications: B.E/B. Tech/M.Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation engineering or equivalent with 8-12 years of relevant experience. Higher qualifications of post-graduation is desirable. Avionics and Defense systems design is desirable. Key Responsibilities and Tasks: Responsible for FPGA design cycle Design, Development, Simulation, Test & Debug, Verification & Validation Responsible for designing, modeling, verifying and integrating the digital sub-systems implemented on the state of art FPGAs/ASICs. Perform FPGA coding Development in languages like Verilog, VHDL, System Verilog Working with Hardware board design engineer for system level designs, Board level block diagram design and validation of hardware, utilizing the Company specified hardware design tools. Mentor the junior members in the team Design the architecture of a function by identifying the different modules and their interfaces. Perform the detailed design of each module Write the design document. Code the function in VHDL and perform unit simulations Integrate the function into the component. Write the simulation plan detailed. Participate in component integration and top simulation, write the test report. Skills Required: FPGA Architecture Design and Development (Xilinx, Altera, VHDL, Verilog). FPGA Verification Familiarity/Appreciation of D0-254/SIL1 Designs Digital and Analogue Electronic Design Robust Electronic Engineering Skills and ability.
