OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

As a Lead platform developer, you will be responsible for hands on development as well as guide the design, development, and maintenance of specific modules and/or systems using existing and emerging technologies. You will also be responsible for ensuring the developers in your team are delivering quality code for features and modules for our industry leading Common Use Self Service and Common Use Terminal Emulators which underpins the efficiency of modern airport processes. Also, as the Lead, you will collaborate with other lead developers to ensure E2E solution are provided to our customers. You will mentor the developers in your direct team in their development activities.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Software Development, you will be a part of the Product Engineering and Integration team responsible for the implementation of our critical products. You will work closely within the DevOps teams for the full end-to-end software development life cycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Solid understanding of common data formats (XML, JSON)
• Knowledge of WCF Service and Experience of Windows Services
• Experience in HTML
• Good Knowledge of Restful API
• Knowledge of common communication protocols (HTTP, REST, Web Services)
• Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft SQL Database
• Demonstrable Experience of working in Agile Development Methodology leading a team of developers
• Experience of good source control management (GIT)
• Solid understanding of working with CI/CD

5+ years

Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.

• Strong process flow and diagramming skills.
• Strong communication skills - verbal, written, listening and presentation.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Expertise in business process analysis, system analysis and data analysis
• Very proficient in developing requirements definition, functional specifications, data models and business procedures
• Proficient in software fit analysis
• Expertise in MS Office, MS Project, Visio and other PC software
• Has advanced knowledge of audit principles through extensive experience.
• Has strong understanding of the business processes in assigned areas to best implement policies and practices.

QUALIFICATION

• BE/B Tech
• Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and software development methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills, strong relationship management and negotiation skills
• 5+ years audit experience
