About Fixed Networks

Our Fixed Networks (FN) business group provides an array of \xe2\x80\x9cgigabit to the home\xe2\x80\x9d solutions to deliver data access to our communication service provider (CSP) customers. This includes Fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) as well as 5G fixed wireless access (FWA), xDSL and cable upgrades. We build solutions that don\xe2\x80\x99t stop at the home but also bring that gigabit experience into the home using our meshed Wi-Fi solution.

Job Responsibilities & Competencies

:

• xPON ONT system level test to make sure the delivery quality in line with customer\xe2\x80\x99s requirement and quality target.
• Analyze customer network topology, application and specific service requirement; design test documents including test strategy, test case list and test specification.
• Build xPON ONT E2E test environment. Execute test case, analyze test result, collaborate with developer on the bug fix, report test result on schedule.
• Follow Quality Process: find, characterize, track and verify defects. Provide detail log to design team if needed.

\xc3\x98 Field trial test support, field customer issue simulation at Lab and collaborate with Software team to closure of field customer issues.

Required skills:

\xc3\x98 Education: Bachelor or above, telecommunication, electronic engineering, computer science, or related major preferred

\xc3\x98 Strong technical background in the following fields with Handson experience

\xc3\x98 * GPON, 10G PON, L2 / L3 Domain, TR69(CWMP), TR369, Wifi basics, Wifi Mesh

\xc3\x98 * Test instrument, such as Spirent TestCenter, Ixia, Avalanche, CDrouter, MT2,

\xc3\x98 Good knowledge about TCP/IP network and protocols is mandatory

\xc3\x98 Good knowledge about routing and switching is preferred

\xc3\x98 Automation test script experience on python and shell is mandatory.

\xc3\x98 Language ability: English, good, both written and oral.
