RSI Content Solutions India Pvt. Position Summary: RSI is looking for a Technical Lead – Java with 8-12 years of experience, to support the development of CMS products.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work directly with customers (internal and external) to handle bug reports, product enhancements and client needs.
• Provide guidance and leadership to other engineers and team members.
• Collaborate with the entire development team with the goal of improving the efficiency of development with a focus on zero defect policy.
• Partner with users, clients, product managers, and software engineers to define requirements, user workflows, and create design documents.
• Review the contribution from team members and do the code review and ensure 100% compliance against coding standards
• Ensure maximum unit test coverage for product/solution source code
• Identifying security, performance risks and conducting mitigation actions
• Spearhead the performance profiling and bring improvement to the product/solutions
• Act as the SME to review the Technical/Developer documentations
• Participate in Scrum meetings, drive and execute various technical project phases from development through implementation of advanced web technology solutions for commercial clients.
• Researching, analyzing, designing, proposing, and delivering solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology
• Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives
• Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms

Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
• Minimum of 10 years’ of Software Development experience
• Recent Certifications in Java
• Experience with Content Management Systems
• Practical or theoretical knowledge of configuration and issue management tools (such as Subversion/Mercury/Git and Trac/JIRA/Rally)
• Familiarity with Maven
• Experience developing REST web services, programming with object oriented, and/or declarative languages

Required Technical skills:

• Core Java
• Java EE
• Java Script
• Basic XML
• HTML
• Very Strong Debugging and troubleshooting skills

Desired Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of any NoSQL Database
• Typescript/CSS/XQuery/XSD
• Knowledge or work experience in Linux
• Knowledge or work experience in Messaging systems.
• Knowledge on Data structures, Design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Maven

Reporting: This position reports to the Deputy Managing Director.
Work Hours: This is a full-time position with hours of operations from Monday and Friday, between 9:30am and 6:00pm.
