Technical Delivery Manager - Offshore Delivery Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Delivery Manager to join our team. As a Technical Delivery Manager for one of our Offshore Projects, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution and delivery of technical projects with offshore teams dedicated for a client. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including offshore development teams, clients, and internal stakeholders, to ensure project milestones are achieved within scope, budget, and timeline. Your technical expertise, project management skills, and ability to lead and motivate teams will be instrumental in driving the success of our offshore projects. 15+ years of experience is a must. Recent Technical Hands-on experience is preferred. Work from Chennai office Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Technical Delivery Manager or in a similar role, with a track record of successfully delivering offshore projects. Strong technical background with in-depth knowledge in any of Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, OS, DB, Vanilla Skills, Cloud, Reporting along with software development processes and methodologies. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in stakeholder management and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams. Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire offshore development teams. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving results. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience delivering with Agile/Scrum methodologies is required. Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite meetings or team coordination. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Scrum masters, project managers, software developers, quality assurance engineers and business stakeholders, to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality solutions. Detailed Responsibilities: (Performance Management, Resource Management & Utilization, Training) Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables. Coordinate with client teams to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and deliverables. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation plans. Conduct regular status meetings and provide project updates to stakeholders. Team Leadership and Management: Manage and provide leadership to offshore development teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project goals. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional development. Set performance expectations, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations for team members. Identify skill gaps and training needs, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address them. Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and opportunities. Understand client requirements and ensure projects are delivered to meet their expectations. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering long-term partnerships. Quality Assurance and Risk Management: Define and implement quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. Conduct thorough reviews of project deliverables to ensure adherence to specifications and proactively identify and mitigate project risks, implementing contingency plans as necessary.
