Introduction: The purpose of the role is to provide end-to-end delivery of strategic infrastructure migrations of software and hardware within our datacentres. The role involves managing both internal and externalstakeholders, providing migration strategy, impact assessing requirements and technical implementation planning through to migration. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex software and hardware migrations with no impact on operational service What will you be doing Analysis of business and application requirements related to migrating multiple external services to new infrastructure Impact assess currently implemented physical deployments, software upgrades, data migrations. Provision and work with internal and external stakeholders on deploying new infrastructure Provide detailed designs outlining per service migrations including infrastructure andapplication changes required Work with internal stakeholders to manage the change process for any Configuration Items or assets aligned to the migration design What we\'re looking for: Extensive knowledge of infrastructure services operating systems upgrades, relational database management system migrations/upgrades, data migrations, storage solutions Extensive and recent experience of managing, designing and implementing complex migrations Experience in service delivery operations across a range of platform architectures Extensive experience managing projects/programmes involving different teams from inception to delivery Skills that will help you in the role Project/Agile management certification Where will you be working Pune Be More at Barclays At Barclays, each day is about being more - as a professional, and as a person. \'Be More @ Barclays\' represents our core promise to all current and future employees.
