Your Role and Responsibilities
As a content developer (technical writer), you\xe2\x80\x99ll design and create valuable technical content that enables and inspires our customers. Technical content plays a critical role in ensuring that people can use and manage our software products. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for people with a passion for clear communication, and an aptitude for technology, to join our team.

Our technical content includes product documentation, content that\xe2\x80\x99s embedded in the product UI, product messages, API documentation, tutorials, blog posts, graphics and videos, support content, and more. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a content developer who can organize information into clear and compelling communications and deliver it in whatever format best suits our customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be working alongside our experienced content development team, and our engineering squads. You\xe2\x80\x99ll gain a comprehensive understanding of the product and use it to convey technical concepts in an accessible and understandable way.

This role would suit someone with a technical degree and excellent written English. We are also interested in hearing from people with a non-technical degree who have a passion for writing and an ability to quickly understand technical concepts. You will need to be comfortable with being hands-on with the technology that you\xe2\x80\x99re writing about.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do:

• Create clear, concise, and relevant technical content that helps our customers achieve their goals.
• Collaborate with software developers and UX designers to optimize the information experience in the UI.
• Gather information from a broad range of resources and synthesize into comprehensive deliverables.
• Create, edit, and revise content to continuously improve accuracy, usability, and engagement.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• The ability to write clearly, explaining complex concepts in an understandable way.
• The ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• The ability to work in a cross-geography team.
• The ability to learn quickly and pick up new technologies and processes.
• Confidence with technology \xe2\x80\x93 you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to become comfortable using our products yourself.
• Thoroughness and attention to detail.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Familiarity with structural and markup languages (for example, HTML, XML, Markdown)
• Experience of working in software teams, of agile software development processes, and software engineering tools
• An understanding of writing for globalization and accessibility
• Experience of publishing content to social media channels
• Familiarity with creating graphics by using tools such as Adobe Illustrator
• Experience of writing about technology or science
• Familiarity with cloud and integration technologies
