Job Description

Duties: Client is seeking a technical consultant to join our rapidly growing team. In this position, you will be building highly scalable workflows as part of our product offerings within the procurement space. As a key member of product development, you will get the opportunity to work closely with product managers, engineers, design, and quality on some of the company\'s core customer facing applications. The role is unique in that it requires a blend of both business analyst skills, product skills, as well as being able to deliver requirements through their development/coding skills. The role sits within the Product Organization and requires the candidate to be extraordinarily collaborative working with peer inbound and outbound product manager, but also cross-functionally with other parts of the business. In this role, you will be focused on executing the end-to-end development starting with customer requirements gathering, persona and use case development, writing stories and acceptance criteria, and finally delivering the packaged end feature set. Working with quality engineering and product documentation through the successful delivery of the feature is also expected. Product development and coding for the uses cases would all be using the Client platform. Skills: Ideal candidate is a self-started and will have: Excellent communication and collaboration skills and experience working in customer facing roles (required) Experience designing business processes and writing user stories by using: Primary research: participation in user studies to understand customer requirements for a business process including facilitating customer interviews and collating findings. Secondary research: reviewing available information online and from other sources about a business process and the steps to that process. Designing process: experience compiling primary and secondary research into concise process flows of a given business process. Writing functional specifications, defining use cases, writing user stories, and acceptance criteria. (required) Experience building on the Now Platform with the following tools: ServiceNow low-code tools: building process flows in Flow Designer and Process Automation Designer that meet business requirements and integrate with other ServiceNow products. (required) Record Producers: designing record producers to intake the right information for a given request to be properly worked. Basic table management: adding fields to a table, designing form views, designing table relationships. Other requirements: Availability to work with Eastern Time. Minimum availability should be between 8am - 11am ET two times per week for research, meetings, and customer interviews. Familiarity working in Agile processes where work is delivered in sprints. Education: Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or equivalent Technical understanding of Now platform ServiceNow Administration certification (desirable) Domain knowledge in Procurement workflows (desirable) Experience required in app engine, flow designer Track record of building demos Strong written an and oral communication skills Deliver in Agile environment
