This Team is part of the Corporate Technology supporting the Data and Analytics business unit with data driven solutions to drive internal investment decision making, revenue retention and growth, compliance programs, product development and commercial strategy. The Enterprise Datawarehouse is a core capability in supporting business intelligence and reporting across Data & Analytics, and the target datamarts provide access to critical datasets to support this. Some of the Daily Tasks you will perform:- Collaborate with Corporate Technology Product Owner, Scrum Master and Data & Analytics Business Analysts to understand business requirements, use cases and desired outcomes. Collaborate with D&A Technology team to understand source systems, source data and data flows to build out datamarts in the Enterprise Datawarehouse to meet the required business outcomes. Solve complex data problems, and apply data modelling knowledge and techniques to deliver a high quality solution that is both efficient and performant. Act as a data subject matter expert across various data domains. Partner with Customer Insight teams to ensure the datamarts are understood and support report query design where necessary. Troubleshoot data issues in the data warehouse. Collaborate with Snowflake development resources to complete knowledge transfer and support the Build activities. Participate in User Acceptance Testing. What you need to bring:- Overall IT experience with at least ten years, with 5+ years in data modelling. Experience in data modelling methodology and lifecycle End to end project development lifecycle experience from inception, feasibility, design, through to project delivery. Data Modelling skills with good knowledge of various techniques, Kimball, Inman, Data Vault. In depth understanding of conceptual, logical and physical data models. Curiosity, and critical thinking through complex data problems. Understanding of database structures Understanding of RDBMSs and SQL proficieny Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Collaborative approach Experience working in an agile team. Understanding of JSON, XML, data formats. Knowledge of Snowflake as a cloud data warehouse capability. You will be more competitive if:- Good understanding of financial reference and/or market reference data. 3-5+ years working with big data solutions and delivering complex datawarehouse solutions. Experience of analytics. Familiarity with BI tools, PowerBi, Tableau. Experience of ETL tools, Matillion, Infromatica cloud.
