Inviting applications for the role of Technical Associate - NOC Engineer

Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Basic Knowledge on Networking Concepts (Routers, switches and Connectivity)

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of ITIL ( Mainly on Incident management/Problem management)

\xc2\xb7 Ready to work in Rotational shifts to provide 24/7 monitoring of the IT infrastructure

\xc2\xb7 Zeal to learn new technologies, technical concepts and implement them effectively whenever required

\xc2\xb7 Mobile communications and analyzing metrics based on the threshold values

\xc2\xb7 Understand various technologies and adapt to high pressure situations

\xc2\xb7 Actively participates in team discussion and activities

\xc2\xb7 Act as a first point of escalation/consultation for the team on all technical, procedural and process related queries

\xc2\xb7 Analyse, acknowledge & record each & every alert in the monitoring tools & handle the alerts as per their impact

\xc2\xb7 Excellent written and spoken communication skills

\xc2\xb7 Good skills on Excel and power point presentations

\xc2\xb7 Experience in working with cross functional teams and different verticals

\xc2\xb7 Ability to read and write technical manuals and documents

\xc2\xb7 Basic understanding of telecom concepts such as SMS,VPN, Mobile data, Roaming scenarios and GPRS call flows will be an added advantage

\xc2\xb7 Good Communication Skills

\xc2\xb7 Strong Interpersonal skills (E.g., Active listening, Policy-minded, service-oriented, etc )

\xc2\xb7 Position will interact with people from a wide variety of technical departments and non-technical business units.

\xc2\xb7 Strong critical, analytical and correlative thinking

\xc2\xb7 Strong and consistent attention to procedural detail.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s Degree required. Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

\xc2\xb7 ITIL Trained/Certified
