The Role: .Net Architect

The Team: Core Engineering is the central Architecture team for the NRS (Network and Regulatory Solutions) division that comprises of around 70 odd products. The team is responsible for architecture governance across all the products, responsible for designing processes and solutions for different practices including DevOps, Cloud, Security and Performance.

The Impact: The role is critical in establishing architectural practices in .Net world of NRS division. It will make sure that all our offerings follow the standards and guidelines from an architecture perspective. It is critical in designing .Net software applications and migrating them from on-prem to cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement software architecture designs and patterns to meet business requirements using .NET Core and cloud technologies. Provide guidance and technical leadership to development teams on best practices, coding standards, and software design principles for .NET Core and cloud technologies. Develop high-level architectural diagrams, system models, and documentation to communicate software architecture design. Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and frameworks to improve software development processes and outcomes. Provide guidance for migrating on-prem application to cloud infrastructure in best possible ways to reduce costs. Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues and defects for .NET Core and cloud technologies.

What We\'re Looking For:

Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or related field. Overall, 12 - 14 years of experience with 7+ years of experience in architecture, design, and implementation using .NET, .NET Core, C#, and cloud technologies. Proven experience in designing scalable, maintainable, and secure software architecture using cloud technologies. Good understanding of Microservice Architecture. Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms. Understanding of DevSecOps practices. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes or any other orchestrator. Understanding of SQL Server, Postgres databases and database design principles. Good to understand Babelfish for PostgresSQL.
