10+ years of IT experience and minimum 3 years of experience on VMware vSphere, NSX and HCX. 4+ years of experience in datacentre networking technologies.
\xc3\x98 Responsibilities

• You will partner with Solution Architects and service delivery teams to plan and implement infrastructure deployments and migrations for large enterprise customers, moving customers from on-premises VMware environments to Azure VMware Solution using VMware HCX.
• You will work directly with customer application, infrastructure, and security stakeholders to define requirements for successful deployment & migrations.
• Maintain knowledge of the latest on VMware Networking (NSX) and Migration (HCX) products in order to deploy and migrate services as per industry best practices.
• Share knowledge with others through solution documents, engage technical communities, build automated self-help solutions, and create training.

\xc3\x98 Qualifications
Successful Candidate Competencies:

• Relevant experience in architecting and designing SDDC with VMware NSX
• Knowledge and implementation experience designing and developing solutions using VMware\'s Core Cloud Infrastructure

o [Required] VMware vSphere 6.0 and above.
o [Required] VMware NSX-T network virtualization technologies.
\xc2\xa7 NSX edge services (DNS, DHCP, Gateway Firewall, Distributed Firewall)
\xc2\xa7 NSX implementation
\xc2\xa7 NSX migration from vlan or NSX-v
o [Required] VMware HCX Advanced & Enterprise
o [Preferred] VMware Site Recovery Manager & vSphere Replication.
o [Preferred] VMware management suite (vCD, vROps, vRNI, vRLI)

• Experience with migrations using VMware HCX
• Strong understanding of concepts including hardware platform, hypervisor, Networking, security, high availability, monitoring & alerting, etc.
• Familiarity with security & compliance standards across a variety of enterprise IT landscapes.
• Experience with Azure Hosting or Infrastructure background and public cloud highly desired.
• A good understanding of datacentre networking fabric topologies and common architectures deployed, both Layer 2 and Layer 3 based is highly desired.
• Strong communication skills.

\xc3\x98 Education Qualifications

• BS or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or technology-focused discipline or equivalent experience
• CCDP, CCNP, VCP-NV certification is preferred but not required.

\xc3\x98 Desired Qualifications:
Experience working with enterprise customers on architecting and designing SDDC with VMware NSX and migrations using VMware HCX.
Ability to communicate effectively with corporate customers, possess an understanding of the onboarding process and demonstrate a vision for the future.
Excellent customer service skills, good oral and written communication skills, proven ability to handle difficult and sensitive situations involving the most critical and politically charged customer situations, to lead projects and to motivate others.
