Job Title: Technical Analyst & Tester - Veeva QMS

About the department:

Quality & Facilities IT GBS (QFIT IT) is an integral part of Corporate IT within Global IT GBS; which currently consists of highly skilled IT professionals responsible for IT operations for all major Global Quality and Facilities IT systems in Novo Nordisk. The team is responsible for managing day-to-day IT support, development, validation and testing of entire Quality Management System of Novo Nordisk, spanning across entire globe. The key objective of QFIT IT is to ensure robust IT support to systems, which in turn ensures product quality and patient safety for Novo Nordisk.

The position:

You should have a hands-on experience in understanding, managing, and evaluating technical configurations for pilot and future modules for Quality Management System (QMS) which will be moved from Veeva QMS reliance framework to Veeva QMS. You should have worked on testing and implementation of functionalities using Blackbox and Whitebox techniques.

Designing and developing test cases and test scenarios depending upon the User Requirement Specification (URS) and Technical Design Specification (TDS) is again what will form a part of your job role. You would also need to ensure that all technical integrations/interface with other applications (like Systems, Applications & Products (SAP), Application Development (AD), Oracle Access Manager (OAM) etc.) are working as intended. You must also be able to develop, technically evaluate custom-build interfaces and implement proposed changes.

Evaluation of any change request and assessment of the technical impact on all other Veeva QMS modules, on all related interfaces, on Veeva Domain as well as from IT Security perspective will be looked after by you in this role. You also need to be a technical expert in managing Application Programming Interface (API) integrations to Veeva QMS.

Stakeholder communication includes interaction with system management and delivery team of Veeva QMS, novoGlow replacement project team, Quality line on business, product owner and Scrum Master, external vendors.

As an incumbent you will be responsible for driving incremental innovation supporting continuous improvement in this role. You will also have a global exposure as you would be reporting to the delivery teams located in Bangalore and Denmark.

Qualifications & Experience

  • You may have a Graduate or a Post-Graduate degree (MSc, MBA, B.A. etc.) in the field of Software Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration
  • A must have skill for this role is that you must be Veeva QMS certified and must also have a working knowledge about Blackbox and Whitebox techniques. A good to have skill would be to have a certification as a ISTQB tester. Good written and oral communication skills are one of the essentials as stakeholder management is embedded in this role.
  • You will need to have 3+ years of relevant IT experience covering specification, design, development, test/validation/documentation, implementation, and maintenance of IT solutions in large organizations.
  • In addition to this, you must also have a good knowledge and understanding about software applications like MuleSoft and a basic Experience with DevOps implementation.
  • You should have good programming knowledge and an awareness of Software Development Life Cycle along with proficiency in Agile Development and ability to understand the business and work in a team. Apart from this you need to be a good observer, creative and out of the box thinker also possessing abstract reasoning skills with an analytical bent of mind.
