About the role

  • Efficiently handle the Data Management activities around the priorities relating to:
    • Analysis of clients\' data submissions, Data validation process
    • Cater to mapped data requirements of Experience Studies and Actuarial Modelling
    • Market & Product analytics
  • Ability to assess and identify data consistencies from Client submission, assess the minimum data requirements and map data to Swiss Re\'s Global Data formats.
  • Strong SAS hands on experience to collate, validate and map data
  • Ability to comprehend and validate data received from Clients, perform premium, claims validation logics as per Treaty Conditions and perform Plausibility
  • Deliver to the needs and requirements of Portfolio Management, Products and Actuarial Teams
  • Prepare Market and Product wise quarterly reporting,
  • Proactive participation in XFTs discussions relating to handling, Mapping and reporting of inconsistencies, if any
  • Collaboration with Cross Functional teams such as Experience Studies, Business Management Actuarial teams, Claims and IT Teams is essential to ensure implementations are in line with business priorities and requirements.
  • Ability to understand and meet end to end Data Governance requirements and to manage sensitive data effectively.

About you
  • Fair technical knowledge on reinsurance concepts specifically in L&H domain is vital
    • Preferred exposure to L&H Business:
    • Basic insurance industry experience
    • Exposure in working with data sets: Data collation, validation (validate, interpret and draw out trends and data representation)
  • 4 to 5 years overall Insurance/Reinsurance domain. Experience in Accounting, Finance, Re/Insurance or equivalent
  • Analytical skills (flair for figures):
    • Ability to work on different analytical tools SAS, MS Office and SQL \xe2\x80\x93 Basic (understanding of the tool, prefer at least a year hands on experience in SAS)
  • Effective interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills enabling to drive resulted oriented outcomes.
  • Eye for detail, individual\'s ability to be able to identify any deviations basis in comparison to treaty documents.
  • Awareness of Market trends & developments (new product developments, regulatory changes, financial requirements)
  • Ability to challenge the status quo & manage multiple stakeholders (multi-cultural and cross functional teams in a virtual set-up)
  • Understanding business rationale which enables business decisions creating a positive impact for clients
  • Being An agile team player with the ability to manage own workload and demonstrates a sense of Accountable, Responsible and Commitment
  • Bachelor/Master\'s in Finance or Accounting/Insurance/Finance/Economics related certifications preferred.
  • Ability to coach/mentor team members and effectively lead & manage any initiatives assigned
  • Result oriented working style, with strong focus on performance, targets and risk management
