Position: Technical Support Executive Location: Tirunelveli Company: Parvathi Power Systems Department: Tech Support Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Executive to join our dynamic team, providing technical assistance for solar and home automation products. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues reported by customers, effectively identifying root causes and recommending solutions. Support through product installations, setup processes, and configuration, ensuring smooth integration and functionality. Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to escalate complex technical issues for resolution, while keeping customers informed of progress. Assist in creating and updating product documentation, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides to enhance customer self-help resources. Conduct remote diagnostics and remote troubleshooting sessions when necessary, utilising appropriate tools and techniques. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, product updates, and technical advancements related to solar and home automation. Identify recurring technical issues and collaborate with the product team to develop long-term solutions. Provide timely feedback to the management team regarding common customer inquiries and potential areas for improvement. Qualifications and Requirements: 1. Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. 2. Proven experience in technical support or customer service, preferably in the solar or home automation industry. 3. Strong knowledge of solar energy systems, home automation technologies, and associated components. 4. Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. 5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical customers. 6. Familiarity with CRM systems and ticketing tools for managing customer interactions. 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 8. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach. 9. Willingness to adapt to new technologies and learn about new products quickly. 10. Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and evenings, to provide support across different time zones. Preferred Skills: 1. Certification in solar energy systems or home automation technologies. 2. Previous experience with remote technical support and diagnostic tools. 3. Multilingual proficiency to support customers in different regions.
