Role Purpose :

Tech Spec. IT Bus. Analyst serves as a primary interface w/ the business, & partner w/ development teams to provide an integrated solution across domains. S/he is recognized as an SME in both business & technology for a primary domain. Responsible from the initial business request, impact analysis, & prioritization thru detailed analysis, design, & solution implementation. Often serves as an analysis proj ld on large complex projects spanning domains or coach for jr. analysts.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Analysis Planning, Monitoring, and Communication: Responsible for driving the analysis planning, analysis approach, and requirements management. Often serves as a project lead on large, complex programs that span domains. Manages and delegates analysis work for other analysts on the project.
• Detailed Analysis: Responsible for performing detailed analysis activities such as detailed requirements, user stories, interface specs, UI specs, and report specs. Often serves as a project lead. Provides oversight across domains, while managing & delegating analysis work for other analysts on the project.
• Elicitation: Drives the elicitation sessions, storyboarding, prototyping, and analysis. Often serves as a project lead. Provides direction to other analysts on the tools and techniques required for the project.
• Impact Analysis: Responsible for business need/case definition; Delivers budget analysis or impact assessments for the department; Defines the project feature set with high level requirements.
• Knowledge Management: Contributes to and manages the knowledge base across domains, including both project artifacts and living artifacts. Seen as a subject-matter-expert.
• Leadership: Serves as a role model. Often responsible for coaching colleagues on the knowledge, skills, and abilities to be successful.
• Solution Assessment & Validation: Partners with QA on testing strategy and test plan reviews; Contributes to the logical and physical design; Leads and facilitates user acceptance testing.

Skills & Software Requirements:
Proficient in Requirements Management Tools, Knowledge Management Tools, Collaboration Tools, Visual Modeling Tools and Automation Tools.

Exposure into Regulatory Domain (capital market domain)

Competent in Data Modeling Tools.
