Vice President, Pre-Acquisition Risk policy - Credit Card.



Job Responsibilities



Responsible for defining, creating and implementing credit card acquisition policy in line with business requirements & acceptable Risk appetite. Dissemination of Policies to appropriate levels. Getting modifications in Business Rule Engine (BRE) as per changes made in the policies. Liaise with BSG/IT team for making changes in LOS/Co-origination systems/FICO and for Automation for Credit Cards boarding in all these system. Monitoring various measures and triggers as per documented policy and track performance of existing and new programs for identification of early warning risk indicators. Increase the Pre-approved base by an order of magnitude. Conduct UAT for the BRE rules & the deployment of Process flow/changes in UAT environment before rolling out in the Production in origination system. Monitoring the BRE changes post go live in production to ensure successful implementation in LOS. Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, Advance Excel, SAS,SAS Macros etc.) Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy Rolling out training on policy changes to Sales, Underwriting team; responsible for giving clarifications and answering queries on product policy matters to Sales, Underwriting team, Branches, Marketing teams etc. Identify areas of gap and get them corrected. Identify and eliminate irrelevant / unnecessary process flows. Identify all areas of process automation and pushing relevant teams to get them implemented. Managing Risk deliverables for assisted & DIY journey for sourcing credit card applications to facilitate digital fulfilment journey & lead management Analysis on Sourcing mix, TTD Analysis, Approval Rate monitoring, Reject analysis risk channel/Promo /score band/CIBIL band wise. Ensuring timely closure of all audit observations and ensure risk policy & SOP's are always current and updated. Continuously audit the implementation part of the processes. Identify the areas of governance requirement, see whether relevant governance processes are in place and ensure implementation of same.

JOB REQUIREMENTS



Skills/Knowledge prerequisites



At least 10 years of experience with 5 years of Credit Cards policy management. Strong understanding of unsecured lending products like Credit Card, Personal Loans and Line of credit Prior experience in managing risk activities in retail lending and portfolio is essential Should have knowledge of process and risk policy framing. Should have relevant working knowledge of banking systems, BRE and LOS systems. Should be able to manage conflicting opinions. Should be able to interact cross function and bring the buying of all stakeholders. Ability to engage with senior stakeholders at a level of Business head, CRO or similar.

Educational Qualifications



Must hold a Master in Business Administration (MBA /PGDM/Equivalent) for a Tier 1 or 2 institute or must be a Chartered Accountant (CA). At least a Bachelor's degree in mathematics/ statistics/ economics/Engineering or equivalent; Master's degree is desirable. A CFA or FRM certification would be an added advantage.
