Role and Responsibilities Ensure that production equipments are capable of producing within the specifications and tolerances established by the equipment vendor/manufacturer (Media, harvest, bioreactors, chromatography, mixed bed, SSMB-Simulated Sequential Moving Bed, Polish Bed systems, multiple effect evaporation and Spray Dryer) Consult relevant stake holders regarding desirable modifications of existing equipment and facilities and the possible replacement of existing equipment which will improve operations and reduce maintenance costs Analyze cost studies of proposals for new equipment in the department designed to secure reduced operating costs. Make recommendations to the Head-Plant Operations Develop objectives and standards of performance for projects within the Maintenance Department required to meet departmental, business division and corporate goals and objectives Plan and provide for an adequate supply and ensure control over spare parts and maintenance supplies. Control labor cost within department. Support all GMP rules in the plant with the team Critical Success Factors Working experience in GMP\'s, HAACP, Safety, etc Implementation experience in Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and Leader Standard Work Excellent knowledge on vacuum pumps, pumps, blowers, fans, motors, fabrication etc. Qualifications: B.E. (Mechanical) or Diploma in Engineering with similar specialisation Essential: Troubleshooting skills Technical evaluation skills Commercial acumen Vendor management skills Break-down maintenance process Good communication skills Desirable: SAP working knowledge Work Experience: B.E. (Mechanical) with 8 years of experience or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) with 10 years of experience from Chemical, FMCG, Food and Nutrition industry.
