DescriptionGeneral Information:Business Information:The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 1500 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest engineering hub. The India Operations Centre is a key aspect of the Power Grids business Power Up transformation program. The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center team at Chennai supports Hitachi Energy\xe2\x80\x99s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Power Grid business. To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.Mission Statement:Lead a diverse group of project management resources supporting different businesses and HUB\xe2\x80\x99s. Drive standardization, best practice sharing and knowledge development for the team members to support all our LPG stakeholders.Your Responsibilities:As line Manager, is responsible for leading the team.Collaborate closely with the respective LPG counterparts, define, and align on goals for each individual \xe2\x80\x93 lead the Performance development discussions.Coach the team members and support their development to achieve business and their career goals.Regular connect with LPG counterparts and responsible for maintaining the Key KPI\xe2\x80\x99s for INOPC like Utilization, NPS etc.Proactively plan and hire the resources as required by LPG and also lead the efforts for onboarding and training till new resource is operational.Key focus on behavioral competence of the team members and developing the team members.Leverage best practice learnings from other teams and support in deploying the learnings in other teams after alignment with LPG.Aligning with LPG and managing the billing for the resources in the team on time and accurately.Managing and supporting in all administrative needs for the team members (Leaves, IS, Office, HR infrastructure etc..)Safety and Integrity: Living Hitachi Energy\xe2\x80\x99s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your Background:Graduate in Engineering; Electrical engineering gets Preference with Min Experience of 15 years.Must have prior expereince as project Manager in execution of GIS, Other HV products or Substation projects.Prior expereince in working as Team Lead or Team manager and direclty managing external stakeholders is expectedShould possess strong leadership skills and ability to align / agree and challenge decisions with stakeholders in the interest of the business and collaboration.Excellent communications skills and strong Ability to drive discussions to enable best collaboration with LPG.Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
