Job Title: Team Leader, Product Operations

The Group: Our mission is to serve our products and services to licensed clients. The individual in this group supports various products like Morningstar Publishing System, Media, Morningstar Direct & Data Products. This group has to make sure client-subscribed deliverables should be delivered to them precisely as defined in the SLA. Address any client queries promptly and provide the solution.

The Role: Morningstar Product Operations seeks an intelligent and creative professional for its operations team. The primary function of the team is to take care of contractual deliverables designated for Morningstar\xe2\x80\x99s clients & product support.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver agreed production and data deliveries to our clients
  • Apply a professional, timely, and proactively approach to all operational activities
  • Regularly follow up internally and externally for timely completion of operational activities
  • Maintain an expert knowledge of Morningstar products and services, features, benefits and serve as a resource to team members.
  • Meet required service levels for the process
  • Demonstrate and promote strong client advocacy
  • Provide and facilitate pertinent corporate, inter-departmental, and departmental communications as necessary
  • Work closely with operations analysts to ensure deliveries are completed on timely basis with accuracy
  • Assist and guide the team to attain OKRs and goals set
  • Create an inclusive environment and promote idea generation to drive efficiency
  • Streamline processes and ensure process documentation is up to date
  • Engage in project migration and regular catch up with stakeholders and clients as required
  • Conduct knowledge sessions to enhance team skillset
Requirements
  • Sound knowledge of financial and capital markets, especially stocks, mutual funds and indexes.
  • In-Depth Understanding of Direct, MPS and other enterprise products
  • Understanding of networking, internet, communication concepts, client server/n-tier architecture, databases, APIs, front-end tools and complex software systems preferred
  • Excellent client service skills with a proactive approach and take ownership of issues as they arise.
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or similar qualification from a reputed college or institution
  • Fast learner, self-starter, flexible and proven ability to work in a demanding environment with strong multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail, and excellent time management.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills, with an emphasis on critical thinking and strong attention to detail.
  • Detail-oriented and self-starter with an enthusiasm to drive support processes and knowledge sharing improvements.
  • 4-6 years proven work experience with reasonable exposure to client interaction and/or product support and development.
