D.M.E Min 12 years of experience

Key Responsibility: -
New Product / Process Production Preparation
New Product Launch as per Plan
Existing Process & Equipment Enhancement on QCDS
Manage & Ensure QCD targets
Develop Process Standard

Experience & Expected Candidate Profile: -

• Technical

• Should have work experience in New Product Development(NPD) for Automotive system supplier industry in lead role for minimum 5 years. Leads NPD and NPI processes including flawless launch, product documentation, etc.
• Exposure to CNC/VMC programming, tool selection, geometry etc.
• Hands on experience in process development, validation & confirmation of Precision Stamping Parts (Tool Design, Process & Equipment selection)
• Having knowledge and experience in Forming, Deep drawing, Cold & Hot Forging and casting is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of Jig, Fixture, Product assembly (system level) equipment development and process design with Automation & poka-yoke.
• Should of strong knowledge on Joining process like Welding, Fastening, Riveting, etc.
• Having knowledge & experience in Process Automation & Robotics
• Should have hands on experience in conducting process trials achieving and monitoring the KPI targets like FTTR, Run@Rate/Cycle time, Process Capability, etc.
• Designing and implementation of new product line with improved ergonomics, reduced movement, elimination of muda and targeting to improve productivity and quality.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of engineering principles, product development process including mechanical, electrical development tools

• System & Tools

• Should have strong knowledge and experience in adopting IATF requirements, particularly in the area of APQP/PPAP/SPC/MSA
• Good knowledge in Design for Manufacturing & Assembly [DFM & DFA],
  Process Design for Recycling & Environment [DFR & DFE],
  Hands on experience in conducting Process DR for New Product & Process Development with PFMEA approach
• Familiar with measurement techniques.
• Should have strong knowledge in TPM, JIT, Kanban, Lean concepts.
• Having good knowledge & experience in Trouble shooting & Problem solving thru analytical methods like Process Benchmarking, DOE, QIT, QC story, 8D, etc.,
  

• Soft Skills

• Mentors, coaches and leads subordinates by developing performance expectations, assessing individual training needs and planning for goal attainment
• Identify & monitoring risk and mitigation plan to meet the customer & management targets.
• Able to prepare zero base costing for entire Part & Product. Develop & manage cost projections and CAPEX/budgets related to engineering projects.
• Hands on experience in Quality improvement activities related to existing process in-line with recent trends and process bench-marking.
• Demonstrated proficiency to develop presentations and present to senior management.
• Have sound knowledge in cycle time, capacity planning, line set-up, method study, etc.
• New tooling and Process supplier assessment and co-develop for improvement is an added advantage
• Conduct periodical review with internal team and participate in CFT for any product or process related requirement.
• A Good Team Player and Collaborative member to keep up the team spirit.
• Initiate contact with new or existing customers related to new product development and/or product modifications and enhancements.
• Project Management experience to deliver major project deliverables on time will be an added advantage
• Project management skills including the ability to define, prioritize and direct program, project process objectives, plan steps, and to coordinate and allocate resources to meet target
