Job Description


  • Has prior team management experience in the Materials Management domain (Should be able to manage ~15 direct reportee\xe2\x80\x99s effectively)
  • Able to lead team by an example, Guide, drive, motivate & engage team to deliver on all key functional expectations such as forecast accuracy, DOH and managing inventory within desirable levels in collaboration with the businesses.
  • Able to forge relations at all levels, collaborate internally with different teams, externally with suppliers/customers & work in the matrix reporting structures.
  • Advanced Functional knowledge and exposure in Sales, Inventory and Operation Planning, Capacity Planning, advance Materials Management practices, MRP, Inventory reduction techniques & Inventory performance measures like ITR/ DOH
  • Strong Negotiator & should be able to work in complex business environments.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills to work with teams from different geographies (Global, regional & local materials management teams)
  • Lead and drive Materials systems process for SIOP and Inventory to meet the regional team\xe2\x80\x99s daily, weekly and monthly reporting timelines.
  • Responsible for sharing with the team, best practices, continuous improvement of process, development of process standards, compliance with Materials planning processes, and reporting in alignment with the regional and global supply chain organization
  • Strong Working Knowledge of data analytics, dashboard, forecasting and inventory management.
  • Flexible in attitude and approach to accepting all tasks related to the position & Flexible attitude to work with the willingness to learn new skills when required
  • Driving Cost out and cost avoidance Projects
  • Champions Continuous Improvement projects to improve productivity of the team.
  • Handles escalations and provides solutions by using quality tools like 8D analysis, Why \xe2\x80\x93 Why analysis with the help of team

Qualifications

Education level required: Graduate / Engineering Graduate with 7 to10 years of relevant experience related to Sales and Operation planning, Inventory Management & supply chain management in global environments (Added advantage for APICS CPIM certification) Technical knowledge: Material Planning (MRP), Inventory Management and analytics, ERP- SAP,OBIEE, Power BI, Advance Excel.(Knowledge of SAP & BW will be preferred) Soft skills: Excellent communication, Collaboration & presentation skills.
