Profile Summary:
The Team Leader - Accounts & Finance will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting
operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The role involves supervising a team of
accountants, managing financial processes, preparing MIS reports, ensuring statutory compliance, budgeting
and supporting management in decision making through financial insights and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Accounting Operations
? Supervise daily accounting activities including accounts payable, receivable, banking, and general
ledger entries.
? Ensure timely and accurate posting of all financial transactions.
? Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and expense vouchers.
? Monitor and maintain books of accounts as per company policies and accounting standards.
2) Financial Reporting & Analysis
? Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
? Assist in variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
? Provide financial insights to management for business decisions.
3) Compliance & Audit
? Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Income Tax, and other
applicable laws.
? Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors for smooth completion of audits.
? Implementations of circulars / guidelines issued from time to time by various government authorities.
? Maintain proper documentation and support for all financial transactions.
4) Team Handling
? Lead, guide, and mentor the team to ensure high performance and accuracy.
? Allocate responsibilities and monitor team deliverables.
? Conduct regular reviews and training to enhance team competency.
5) Process Improvement & Controls
? Identify gaps in existing processes and recommend improvements.
? Implement internal controls to ensure accuracy and prevent fraud.
? Support automation and digitization initiatives in financial operations.
