This role will be based at our Atkins office in Bangalore. Job Summary: This is an exciting opportunity for a confident person for a dedicated position in Bangalore to work remotely with our Global Design teams. You will be working with a talented team of creative and technical professionals, supporting across our UK, USA, Canada, Middle East, APAC based business & other Global regions. We are looking for someone who will execute projects with the highest attention to detail and be confident to roll out creative concepts to help us deliver a variety of design solutions. You will be producing solutions to a variety of engineering, infrastructure, and architectural design projects. You will be a strong communicator and a team player, embracing the variety of work and enjoying the buzz of a fast-paced, progressive working environment. The role of a Team Lead (AR/VR/MR) begins with an organised mind and methodical approach, someone who can communicate clearly and persuasively to colleagues and internal clients, building upon their exceptional skills and learning about our creative capabilities in a fast-paced, progressive environment. Work Location: Bangalore Communication & Verbal Skills: Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English. Ability to take clear briefs and communicate progress clearly with Project Managers and designers. Able to collaborate and work as a team to earn loyalty and respect. Able to define and articulate ideas with clarity. Education: Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science Engineering / Bachelor\'s Degree is a benefit but not essential. Qualifications: 8+ years of professional experience. Requirements: Strong knowledge of Gaming engines (Unreal and Unity) with an understanding of optimisation and considerations when creating a real time application. Excellent creative and visualization skills and eye for details. Conversant with integrating architecture, engineering, AEC industry workflows of 3D for bespoke visualisations Strong C# / Python knowledge and ability to problem solve coding challenges. Working knowledge of Git systems. Able to create clean and consistent code that is understandable by other developers and expandable into different architectures. Strong knowledge of game development, Augmented/Virtual/Mixed reality projects Experience with devices like Oculus, HTC Vive, Hololens2 would be essential Good to have knowledge of 3D Max and Blender Experience in developing web based multiuser real time solutions in Unreal/Unity Responsibilities: Following creative direction and quality reviews from the Global Design team Developing a friendly rapport with colleges in remote locations Look to evolve ways of working and create efficiencies with colleagues on projects Take responsibility to continually develop and learn new technical skills Complete timesheets accurately and on time Collaborative: Proactively engage with the design team and demonstrable experience where you must use initiative and collaborative working. Experience of working in a multinational consultancy People: Working within a team, supporting, and learning off others. Financial: Working to set budgets and timescales. Able to assess results and draw conclusions/make recommendations. Physical: Responsible for care of all equipment, hardware, and upkeep of tools Commercial: Understanding of commercial aspects of project/program management. Potential to support with costing and business development. Management: Able to report into Management and support leadership of projects and resource Good Leadership qualities would be beneficial Support in keeping the teams productive and be part of workload calls with management in Bangalore. Where required, support business development.
