Job Purpose Lead & drives functional excellence in engineering solution and provide knowledge base, services and technical understanding for the Network and Cybersecurity applications as per the standards and its regulatory requirements. Manage all aspect of project life cycle from pre-sale proposal support, Engineering, and site support as per the scope. This may include travel for short- or long-term work assignments within India or overseas for customer meetings, project training and site support. Organizes and schedules job tasks with her/his team. Provides leadership to the assigned team & Drive Productivity. Manage team in terms of people development and issue resolution Manage Global stakeholder including the regional solution teams and Global Program Managers Key Responsibilities Deliver & execute the assigned projects on time with good quality/ cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction Ability to take on challenging tasks and be a solution provider to internal & external stakeholders & industry team on solutions Keep improving self-engineering capabilities and exchange best practice with other team members to improve team's capabilities Lead technical implementation in whole life cycle of project delivery Collaborate & work with Technical Lead / SMEs to clarify technical issues and share workloads Ability to present solution to the stakeholders and coordinate development tasks with team members Work with PM for scope management, deliver execution plans & effectively monitor the execution with good quality, cost effectiveness, customer acceptance and customer satisfaction Work closely with Global Program Managers and PM for project management activities, Develop robust quality process & ensure strict adherence, Work closely & guide the proposal team for timely support on estimation and proposal delivery Drive project cost reduction through continuous process improvement, by applying and maximizing reusable engineering standards in project delivery Drive business growth & enhance GEC (Global Engineering Center) contribution. Work for the optimization of procurement processes and identify process improvement opportunities Support in AOP planning Ensure that audits (internal/external) are adequately documented and significant risk are dealt in a timely manner, Engage with various stakeholders to identify opportunities for increased engagement, seek feedback on deliverables and to improve overall engagement Ensures deliverables provided by the GEC are delivered with quality on time and on budget with high levels of Customer Satisfaction. Manage utilization of resources and ensure/support accurate capacity planning. Responsible to manage resources appropriately and to assign right skills to the work. Job Related Competencies 'Hands-on' experience in assessing, designing, and deploying network infrastructure in environments including process automation, discrete controls, and automated manufacturing processes / equipment. Experience in designing and deploying network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.) within an Industrial Network Understanding of various industry standards including ISA, ANSI, NEMA, NERC, IDC, NEC and NIST standards. Specific focus on NIST 800-82, NERC-CIP, IEC-62443 Standards would be an added benefit Experience in PLC, Networking and SCADA design/programming including data extraction and data analysis. Solid technical skills with various Ethernet protocols including EtherNet/IP, specifically around assessment, design and implementation of complex systems. Strong communication skills and commercial skills, ability to handle multiple projects / interactions, and ability to interact with various global teams, clients and vendors including those in international regions. Familiarity with a variety of networking and / or security concepts, practices, and procedures, to include manufacturing and enterprise network convergence, network protocols, communication optimization, application effects on system performance and human exploitation techniques on the manufacturing network. Experience in developing and deploying solutions in a virtual environment. Design, implement and support key global customers' converged business and manufacturing/industrial networks and user needs in parallel with their overall business strategies. Write detailed documentation that could include customer requirements, system specifications, observed issues with remediation recommendations or implementation plans in order to develop or modify manufacturing infrastructure. Design, recommend, and implement network infrastructure and associated configuration changes. . Design customer secure manufacturing architectures and provide vision, problem anticipation, and problem-solving ability to customers. Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required Proven record of successfully managing multiple & complex customer projects and a good understanding about Project Management. Understand and manage complexity at various levels in the organization Educational Qualifications / Work Experience - Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology or related technology driven degree. 12+ years of experience in Manufacturing Control Systems, Network Engineering, and Industrial Security Controls. . 12+ years of hands-on experience configuring IT/OT network infrastructure equipment (Cisco Switches, Virtual Server Environments, Cisco ASA, Anti-Virus Software) In depth understanding of Ethernet/IP and CIP protocol Previous experience working as part of a large, multi-disciplinary global team completing full project life-cycle implementations. Travel Requirements Flexibility for travel 25% - 50% is required and can include both domestic and international trips. Requires strong interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication & leadership skills Should have experience in complete Project Life Cycle delivery from design phase to commissioning Should have managed Global stakeholders and engage with customer remotely or at site
