Food Square India Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Mumbai. The Team Lead will be responsible for managing a team of employees, providing guidance and support to team members, setting team goals and targets, monitoring team performance, and ensuring that team members are meeting their individual goals. The Team Lead will also be responsible for liaising with other departments, reporting to senior management, and ensuring that the team is meeting any regulatory requirements. Qualifications Fluent in Spoken and Written English Overseeing and directing the activities of the retail store staff, ensuring that they are performing their tasks efficiently and effectively. Providing training to new team members and ongoing coaching and development to existing staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about products, services, and store policies. Leading by example in delivering exceptional customer service, handling customer inquiries, and resolving customer issues or complaints. Assisting in sales activities, guiding team members in upselling and cross-selling, and setting sales targets and strategies. Managing work schedules, assigning tasks, and ensuring proper coverage during shifts to maintain a smoothly operating store. Monitoring and managing inventory levels, conducting regular inventory counts, and coordinating with the stockroom or inventory team. Ensuring the accuracy and security of cash registers, overseeing cashiers, and resolving cash-related issues. Collaborating with visual merchandisers to ensure the store\'s layout and displays are attractive and adhere to visual standards. Supervising store cleanliness and organization, including restocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and managing equipment and facilities. Implementing and enforcing security measures to prevent theft and unauthorized activities in the store. Ensuring that store policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols, are followed by all team members. Providing regular reports to store management on sales performance, inventory levels, and staff performance. Addressing any conflicts or issues among team members and working to resolve them in a constructive manner. Identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to develop and motivate the team. Collecting and sharing customer feedback with store management to continuously improve the shopping experience.
