Position Summary IT CORE Services provides critical IT services to the entire BMS Enterprise, including Cybersecurity, Access, Networking, Hosting, Support Services, Tech Adoption and Productivity services to name a few. This role is in the Technical Solutions team in IT CORE Services. Technical Solutions is a team of BMS employees along with approximately 150+ managed service provider resources delivered through HCL, Cognizant and Accenture. Technical Solutions is an integral part of the complete lifecycle of hosting and application management - from creation to retirement. Key Responsibilities Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior members of the DevOps team. Help execute BMS Cloud/Hosting Strategy, including Application Re-platforming & Refactoring. Responsible for application access control, security baseline monitoring, security education and awareness, threat, and vulnerability management Maintain the systems that support software development, deployment, and operations. Utilize automated testing, deployment, and monitoring processes to ensure the quality and stability of application releases. Support and use the DevOps delivery model and Agile project delivery methodology Identify and implement improvements to the organization\'s DevOps practices and processes. Evaluate effectiveness of the DevOps hosted applications and make recommendations for improvement. Manage incidents, requests and implement changes leveraging ITIL tools and processes. Serve as escalation point for application related issues and operational incidents (on a 24 x 7 x 365 calendar). Ensure applications have an appropriate run support model, including monitoring and escalation processes. Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with other technical groups on technology issues and solutions. Work with Cyber Security team to maintain security and data protection for portfolio of applications. Works closely with software development teams, operations teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the reliability and scalability of a portfolio of applications. Support tech debt management by working closely with the application owners by maintaining tech stack. Develop and maintain documentation. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent professional experience. At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps role. Experience leading a DevOps team. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS or Azure. Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell). Familiarity with agile software development methodologies. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools. Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet. Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as ELK or Prometheus. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to succeed in a matrixed environment and to influence adoption of new thinking and technology. Strong learning agility. Exhibit a positive work approach, with high productivity and a collaborative spirit. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and attention to detail. Experienced in working with managed service providers. Familiarity with Pharmaceutical regulatory requirements, infrastructure qualification and validation of applications. AWS or Azure professional certification
