You will be the part of Global Centre of Excellence- Vendor Master data management team which is responsible for KYS (Know your Supplier) process for the entire organization having about 60,000 suppliers These suppliers are spread across our Ocean, Logistics and Terminal businesses You will be responsible and accountable for leading the diverse and agile team of the Vendor Master specialists interacting with Global Stakeholders both upstream and downstream Key Responsibilities: Functional and Leadership Vendor Onboarding and Verification - Oversee the team activities ensuring accurate and up to date vendor information, validating processes, cross collaborating with cross functional teams. Identifying and resolving data discrepancies and implementing data quality standards. Process Improvement - Work with data owners/ procurement and product /Functional process owners to identify and implement process improvements for Vendor Master Data. Implement Master data standards, policies, and procedures. Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and standardization to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of KYS function. Data Quality Management - Establish and enforce data quality standards to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of supplier information. Regular review and validate data to identify and rectify discrepancies. Generate regular reports on supplier data quality, compliance status and present insights to relevant stakeholder. Risk Management and Compliance Monitoring - To identify the policy gaps and risk areas and feedback it to the right stakeholders. Collaborate with stakeholders to stay updated on relevant regulations and industry standards to ensure data is managed in accordance with legal and regulatory guidelines. Collaborate with the Functional Product Owner of Vendor Master to ensure that policy is updated Cross functional collaboration- Work closely with front line procurement, finance, GRC, Functional product owner, compliance teams, transformation, and technology teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination in supplier data management process Performance Management and establishing a CoE- Use data and analytics to monitor team s performance and identify trends for proper allocation of resources for the existing work and new scope related to Mergers and Acquisitions. Creating and executing plans to get all activities related to KYS under one team and planning to support the UAT validations of new system roll outs and enhancements. Team Engagement/Leadership : Driving a high level of team engagement and performance through coaching, mentoring, and focusing on the development of the team through proper onboarding and training. Setting the direction and priorities for the team and ensuring to drive continuous improvement mindset in the team and the culture of the taking the ownership up to the finish line. Ensure alignment with the organization goals and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Driving strategic leadership through talent management and succession planning.
