Production Line Maintenance Mgmt 3 Duties Of Position The Role of the Manager in Equipment Engineering department is to lead, guide, mentor and coach the team to meet the ME department KPI, Manufacturing equipment innovation, implementing cost-effective methods to ensure reduced uptime of equipment. Ensuring Equipment OEE met or exceed the target. Also ensure SANMINA SOP\'s are met during NPI execution and production run. Ensure SOP\'s are created for team responsibilities related 5S, Spares, Down time reduction, , Change over reduction, Validation, Equipment buy off, FPY improvement, Escalation, Supplier support, Production plan execution & PM Ensure the overall project plan for the Equipment validation and qualification are executed on timely manner. Lead, Train and guide the team to achieve the department KPI\'s. Lead the project related to Product yield improvement, Scrap reduction and down time reduction. Timely review of the forecast and plan the Equipment Capacity for production and debug Ensure the SOP\'s are followed during the validation of the Equipments. Daily review meetings to be conducted, summary of the KPI score card should be used to drive for improvement. Ensure team participation in CFT meeting and act on the escalated issues. Verify the IQ, OQ protocol inputs and WI inputs are meeting the CTQ\'s and give improvement feedback. Ensure periodic audits are carried out and give improvement feedback to the sustenance team Cross check the Installation and Operational qualification plan prepared by the CFT members. Ensure preventive maintenance plan for the Equipments are executed Ensure periodic audit conducted on asset, spares inventory and tally with the ordered vs usage Ensure periodic audit conducted on the systems and procedures based on SOP\'s, Improvements are implemented based on the new product requirements Ensure cross training and skill matrix improvement of the team Equipment innovation projects for cost savings Equipment capacity planning to meet the forecast for the regular and NPI productions Quarterly budget planning for the Equipment spare, improvements and innovations Technology road map and Equipment strategy for the plant to meet the new customers and to meet new technology. Active participation in EHS related activities like Identification of aspects and Impacts, HIRA, Emergency preparedness , continuous improvements etc and enable to report about hazardous situations to respective supervisor / department managers as required. Qualification Required B. E in Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation with 15 years experience and above
