: The Team Collection Manager will play a vital role in overseeing the recovery process for AGRI-FIN-TRACTOR LOANS AND RETAIL. They will lead a team of collection specialists, ensuring efficient and effective debt recovery strategies. This role requires strong leadership skills, a results-driven mindset, and the ability to collaborate with various teams within Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the TFE Recovery Branch team, providing strategic direction and guidance.
  • Develop and implement effective collection strategies to maximize recovery rates.
  • Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as legal and operations, to ensure a seamless recovery process.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies related to debt recovery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including borrowers and external partners.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on recovery progress to senior management.
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in debt recovery.
  • Ensure a customer-centric approach, maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in collection management or a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of successful debt recovery strategies and portfolio management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in using data to drive decision-making.
  • Working knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards in debt recovery.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with collection management software is an advantage.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach, with a passion for driving recovery efforts.
