Job Title: Teaching Delivery Co-ordinator Department/Country: English, India Location of the post: Delhi/Chennai/Mumbai (Hybrid) Payband: PB4 Contract Type: Indefinite Contract. Deadline for applying - 16th August 2023 Role Purpose The Teaching Delivery Coordinator will act as a key role in the delivery of English Online classes. This role actively supports the Teaching Delivery Lead and the overall English Online Team, providing support to colleagues from different locations like UK, Australia, India and Canada. The postholder will be expected to actively engage with relevant English Online team members (Teaching Quality team, Tech team, Customer Support) and other internal British Council teams to ensure the smooth delivery of English Online classes and the continuous and active monitoring of teacher setup and ensuring weekly payroll. The postholder would have to manage relationships with external payroll providers - Comensura, Impellam, Flexy, to assist with teacher onboarding and setup along with keeping an up-to-date record of teacher pay rates across all EO locations. To regularly update and maintain relevant EO logs to provide necessary metrics and data points for key decision making or resource planning. Main Accountabilities Resourcing and payroll management Handle weekly pay claims for EO teachers. Actively engaged with EO vendors to ensure their bills are paid up to date. Monitors task completion to agreed quality and time standards. Liaise with Resourcing Team to ensure that contracted teachers join as per compliance. Liaise with TQM to schedule teacher availability to meet client requirement. Take part in the screening and shortlisting of new candidates, as per EO recruitment standards. Take charge of the setup of new teacher/TQM accounts, ensuring that proper guidelines are met and also manage EO systems access - Zoom, Teams and any other required systems. Liaise with Finance Team by creating Purchase Orders and process bills to payments. Reporting and data management Provide accurate reports to Global Teaching Centres on teacher hours. Regularly maintain teacher database and other log reports Perform basic analysis and review data/tasks/information, to support process improvement. Maintains accurate records that are compliant with EO requirements. Operations support and team communication Proactive communication with internal teams to ensure effective coordination and delivery of services. Support operations and delivery teams with scheduling and delivery of closed group courses and regular global timetables Plans and prioritise own work activities, responding to changing requirements to ensure effective delivery of responsibilities over a daily/weekly time period. Coordinate and support others (e.g. internal colleagues or external vendors/clients) to complete tasks within established procedures, in order to ensure efficient delivery of services. Recognise and understand the impact of incidents arising (e.g. complaints or technical difficulties) and proactively alerts the relevant team to any issues of concern that are likely to impact teaching delivery and respond to enquiries from internal teams, and may be a specific point of reference for queries. Adopting new systems and system functionalities as they are introduced to the business. Skills Required Intermediate Excel Skills Organisational Skills - You must be able to plan and prioritise effectively. Shift Timings Candidate should be flexible to work from Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday (including Early Mornings, Late Nights, Sundays & Holidays) as per the business requirement. Qualification Undergraduate degree 1 Experienced user of Microsoft Office apps like. MS Excel, PowerPoint, Forms, SharePoint, Teams, Word, etc. Experience of working in operational or administrative roles. A connected and trusted UK in a more connected and trusted world.
