TDI Data & Records Governance SME Position Overview Job Title - TDI Data & Records Governance SME (Subject Matter Expert) Location - Pune, India. Role Description The TDI Data Council requires a Data & Records Governance SME to join the Data & Records Office and help drive the implementation, management and governance of the Bank\'s Data Strategy, implementation of the Data Quality Control Framework, bringing Mandated Scope Data under Governance as well as disposal & archiving requirements across TDI. The Data & Records Governance role involves the iterative implementation of the Bank\'s Data Principles and Policy, aligned to a Maturity Model framework. The role includes implementation and oversight of data management, including management of Data Quality issues, Archiving & Disposal requirements and supporting metrics to ensure Data Governance standards are maintained on an ongoing basis. Additionally, the successful candidate will be acting as a point of contact across TDI colleagues for Data & Records Management related topics including training and future alignment of Data & Records within TDI. Support Senior team members with multiple use-cases, whether regulatory (BCBS239) or Divisional priorities to adopt the Data Governance strategy. In doing so, partner with colleagues across CDO and the Business divisions where relevant to understand future Data Governance demand, including functional and non-functional requirements. Contribution to the further alignment of Data & Records with impact on key deliverables of archiving and disposal Support in the production of KPIs, consistent with central metrics and methodologies. Accurately register and maintain TDI Council relevant Data within the CDO defined global data management tools, for Business Outcomes, Domain asset Governance, authorised sourcing, local data dictionary and where relevant the enterprise Logical Data Model Manage the event driven / exception management processes for Data related (Collibra) assets, ensuring the referential integrity across relevant artefacts and use-cases. Provide reporting, commentary, training and roadmaps to support and inform the TDI Division, Data Council members Provide assistance to and run Data governance working groups to deliver Data Management. Your skills and experience Experience: Experience operating as a Business Functional Analyst or equivalent Experience in Financial Services, with technology or control functional (Risk, Finance, Audit) experience a benefit Data or Records Governance experience an advantage, alongside an understanding of data management practices or Information Security Awareness of the regulatory environment Proven track record of delivery in complex environments and working within an agile framework Skills: Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation both written and verbal Stakeholder management. Ability to negotiate and positively influence people at appropriate levels within the organisation Ability to work independently and learn quickly Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Shows initiative in making improvements and doing things well Highly competent in the use of Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint Development capability desirable. Technology analysis, strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience of using agile supporting tools, such as JIRA and Confluence an advantage.
