Overview

IT \xe2\x80\x93 SAP DSD Lead for PGT EAA (Europe, AMESA & APAC) Sector
PGT Program across Europe, AMESA, APAC sectors is 4+-Year, Multi-Workstream, Multi-Vendor Program with a total spend $600 Million based on amount approved by Board of Directors and latest ESP forecast made in 2021 .
This is a major transformation project to implement harmonized and simplified business processes enabled by an integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) system utilizing SAP S/4 HANA business suite. The project will replace legacy solutions across these markets and will implement the PGT solution for Record to Report (RTR), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Order to Cash (OTC), Purchase to Pay (PTP), Make to Deploy (MTD), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Forecast to Schedule (FTS), Master data Maintenance & Governance (MDG) and Trade Promotional Management (TPM)
Objectives of the role:
This role supports the implementation and deployment of Master Data Conversions and Data Quality Rules for the PepsiCo Global Template (PGT). Objectives of the role is to ensure that data conversions to SAP works seamlessly and quality data is migrated to PGT environment. In addition this person will coach and provide direction to the Data conversion team members. This role will adopt and adhere to PepsiCo Agile Methodology principles for the PepsiCo Global Template deployment projects.

Responsibilities


  • Partner with Global Data Conversion Team to get Data to SAP.
  • Partner with deployment team to ensure coding standards are applied as per PGT design.
  • Ensure global lift and shift opportunities are deployed across the sectors \xe2\x80\x93 Consult / Execute
  • Collaborate with all scrum teams \xe2\x80\x93 Consult / Execute
  • Manage the deliverables for project data conversion team to adher to project timeline
  • Work closely and collaborate with onshore and offshore scrum team members to ensure a prioritized and sufficient product backlog for the teams to work against \xe2\x80\x93 Consult / Execute
  • Participate in key Sprint planning, retrospectives and other key ceremonies \xe2\x80\x93 Consult / Execute
  • Adopt and adhere to PepsiCo Agile Methodology (PAM) principles and values:
o Adopt development practices which focus on quality and value, while increasing efficiency, and minimizing waste
o Foster an environment where communication, teamwork, and innovation are encouraged
o Help to implement PAM engineering best practices such as continuous integration, automation of testing and delivery, and continuous peer review within teams.
  • Manage questions and clear path for developers to complete build/test of conversions
  • Work with Global on design updates/new patterns
  • Manager the overall tracker for conversion stats
  • Lead Int loads and work closely with Mock Load team
  • Provide direction and overall guidance to FDL\xe2\x80\x99s/conversion team


Qualifications

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree required
  • 8+ years of experience with data / conversions / interfaces


  • Experience of working with/manipulating big data sets (or systems built on significant datasets)
  • Knowledge of SAP Master data models
  • Data Readiness, Conversion, Migration and Cutover experience from a functional standpoint
  • Understanding of Data Quality/Data cleansing practices
  • Demonstrated documentation acumen, presentation of data standards materials for reporting to project and stakeholders alignment.
  • Intermediate SQL skills
  • Ability to use automated tools to assist in the data analysis/cleansing process tasks
  • CPG business processes design.

  • Excellent oral and written skills to provide clear documentation to project teams, the management and executive leadership, and across multiple geographies
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in timelines and sequences, deal with ambiguity, and succeed against in a high-pressure environment
