EDM Data Conversion Engineer – SAP ADM/DSP

Essential Functions: Build digital Business Technology platforms; designs solutions for an increasingly connected world Develops data solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are innovative, seek opportunities for automation of tasks, and are consistent with organization objectives Work with the agile development team to help scope and design products for resiliency, redundancy, supportability, and scalability Ensure performance to system architecture, standards and best practices Exposure to latest technologies like Azure, Snowflake, Integration Models like Mulesoft, Azure Data Factory is an added advantage, but not mandatory Core ERP Data Conversion Objects – Understand Business Processes around core ERP functions in a typical CPG industry. Collaboration and Engagement – Engage with SMEs and BPs, align to Organizational Objectives and Deliver Solution across multiple Master & Transactional Objects Design, Implement and Support the Data Conversion Objects Deliver per established methodologies for enterprise projects with an Master data component, such as technical requirements, design patterns, code reviews and testing procedures Present to change control boards for validated systems to implement development into production Regularly interact with leadership on project work status and priority setting. Department Specific/Non-Essential Functions: This is the Individual Contributor role and will not have direct report Individually drive initiatives around Data Conversion Objects The role will report into the Senior Manger - ITS EDM organization Skills & Qualifications: Education required/preferred: A Bachelor’s in a related field is required. A Master’s Degree is preferred but not required. Experience:
  • 8+ years experience of Information Technology experience
  • Proficient in BackOffice CranSoft/DSP/SAP Data Services/other Data Migration tool.
  • 5-8 Years SAP Data Conversion experience; 3+ full SAP implementation lifecycle(s)
  • Extensive data quality and data migration experience including proficiency in data Modeling, data analysis and conversion planning for data migration activities
  • Experience in adapting all Components available within SAP ADM Platform and their Methodology.
  • Experience implementing Data Quality rules and dashboards on ADM platform
  • Experience implementing Data Quality reports on ADM platform
  • Experience implementing Harmonize functionalities on ADM platform
  • Experience with any or the SAP ECC modules such as: SD, MM, FICO, PP, QM & PM
  • Experience with SAP Data Migration Tooling such as: SAP Data Services, LSMW, IDoc and/or SAP ABAP is a PLUS
  • Hands-on experience with S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, Migration Object Modeller.

  • Self starter and proactive in identifying and driving opportunities
  • Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the K-C organization including suppliers, partners and customers.
  • Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory

Has a broad understanding of all aspects of IT and deep understanding of own specialism(s). Takes the initiative to keep both own and subordinates' skills up to date and to maintain an awareness of developments in the IT industry. Information management: The overall governance of how all types of information, structured and unstructured, whether produced internally or externally, are used to support decision-making, business processes and digital services. Encompasses development and promotion of the strategy and policies covering the design of information structures and taxonomies, the setting of policies for the sourcing and maintenance of the data content, and the development of policies, procedures, working practices and training to promote compliance with legislation regulating all aspects of holding, use and disclosure of data. WORKING CONDITIONS: Travel may include approximately 15% of work time. Travel may include travel via aircrafts and motor vehicles to various locations, if applicable. Varying working conditions may include prolonged sitting, typing and viewing computer/laptop screens, along with occasional bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, climbing, twisting, stooping, walking and standing.
