Job Description

Qualifications: 1. Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Master\'s degree is a plus. 2. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in tunneling projects, with a focus on TBM tunneling. At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably as a project in charge or one level below in charge : 1. Project Leadership: Lead TBM tunneling projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. Oversee and coordinate all aspects of tunnel construction, including planning, design, execution, and monitoring. 2. TBM Operation and Maintenance: Manage and supervise the operation of Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs), ensuring efficient and safe tunnel excavation. Implement preventive maintenance programs for TBMs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. 3. Technical Expertise: Utilize extensive knowledge of TBM tunneling techniques, methodologies, and best practices. Provide technical guidance to project teams, resolving engineering challenges and ensuring compliance with industry standards. 4. Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the integrity of tunnel structures. Conduct inspections and assessments to guarantee compliance with project specifications and safety regulations. 5. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including geotechnical engineers, surveyors, and construction crews. Foster a positive and collaborative working environment to enhance project efficiency. 6. Safety Compliance: Prioritize and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all personnel involved in tunneling projects. Stay abreast of industry safety standards and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance. 7. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and any changes in project scope. Prepare and present regular updates to project stakeholders and management.
