Job Responsibilities:
Preparation & Review of VAT/GST Returns for the F&R entities in the region.
Assist with Indirect Tax reporting activities
Support VAT audits & Assessments
Work closely with team members, colleagues and stakeholders in eliciting, analyzing, validating and documenting the Business and operational requirements.
Assist with standardization and continuous improvement of VAT compliance.
Continue to update standard VAT procedures and documents.
Work towards resolution of issues identified on indirect Tax activities
Able to communicate with Tax authorities on the Various issues and resolve in timely manner
Skills and Competencies:
Good accounting knowledge with strong analytical and problem solving skills including mindset of thinking end to end.
Proactive and ability t o deliver independently with high first time quality within tight deadlines
Working knowledge of SAP would be preferred. Should be easily adaptable to various systems and tools.
Good understanding of Indirect Taxes for getting conversant with the Tax legislations from time to time.
Learning Ability:
Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
Clear and effective communicator
Strong Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
Ability to use initiative to make decisions independently
Be able to identify opportunities for improvement.
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Accounting and Taxation.
B.Com ; M.Com/MBA (Finance) / CA Inter
Prior working experience in the field of Taxation.
Preparation and filing of Indirect tax returns.
Finalization of reconciliations.
Balance sheet review.
Audit experience is also preferable.
Might be required to work in night shifts occasionally during the filing periods.
