Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook tandoori dishes, including breads (naan, roti, kulcha), kebabs, and marinated meats, using a traditional clay oven (tandoor).
Monitor and maintain proper temperatures of the tandoor for optimal cooking results.
Marinate meats and vegetables using traditional and house-made spice blends and yogurts as per recipes.
Ensure the quality, taste, and presentation of all tandoori items are consistent and meet company standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the tandoor section at all times.
Assist in preparing items for the daily mise-en-place.
Check inventory and inform supervisors about stock requirements.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines strictly.
Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and timely service.
